At Hotel Schmitta in Fiesch, I found a cozy retreat that beautifully balances classic charm and modern comfort. The restaurant offered a delightful breakfast, which became a highlight of my stay. Each morning, I reveled in fresh croissants and expertly brewed coffee, enjoyed alongside friendly conversation by the large fireplace. After a day exploring the Aletsch Glacier, I returned for dinner. The menu showcased regional flavors with a creative twist, reflecting the owners' passion for culinary innovation. The hotel's ambiance, with its rustic decor, added to the culinary experience, making it an inviting space to unwind. Though the shower pressure left something to be desired, the owners' warm hospitality and insight into local attractions compensated for minor inconveniences. the public parking was a convenient surprise once we figured it out. Hotel Schmitta is a welcoming base for food lovers and adventurers alike.
